Special Operations EOD (SOE)

Concentration on EOD support in a special operations role (Immediate actions, booby traps, disruption, and threat assessment)

EOD integration into special operations has become a requirement on the battlefield today. The SOE course is designed to provide an advanced level of training for EOD Operators in support of special operations. This course is designed around decades of EOD experience in training and operations supporting special operations units.  

The SOE course is 10 days in length consisting of more than 70% practical training which promotes maximum retention of information and increases experience. This course provides training and information to increase an EOD Operator’s ability to understand Category A Threat Assessment, IED electronic circuits, IED circuit defeat through electronic and dynamic techniques, booby trap defeat, sensitive site exploitation, immediate EOD actions, and mission planning.
