




Tactical EOD Operations (TEO)
Concentration on EOD support in a special operations role (Immediate actions, booby traps, disruption, and threat assessment)
EOD integration into tactical operations has become a requirement in law enforcement. The tactical operations course is designed to provide an advanced level of training for EOD technicians in support of tactical operations. This course curriculum is designed around decades of EOD experience in training and operations supporting special operations units and is taught from this perspective; providing insight into military philosophy and techniques when EOD skills are required during law enforcement tactical operations.
The Tactical EOD Operations is 9 days in length consisting of more than 70% practical training which promotes maximum retention of information and increases experience. This course provides training and information to increase an EOD Operator’s ability to understand Category A and Tactical Operations Threat Assessment, Tactical Planning considerations, Advanced IED electronics, IED circuit diagnostics and defeat, Immediate Action considerations, Dynamic disruption and X-ray techniques, Booby-trap recognition, locating, avoidance and disablement, EOD equipment to support tactical operations, hostage handling, and manual access and neutralization tasks.
