It’s been said that “If you’re not an Operator, you ain’t squat!” Well, whoever says that hasn’t meant our “Technical Bench”! Though this Bench serves as an extraordinary enabler for Zero Point, they can and do standalone in their own right.
Brian Partlow - Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Partlow brings over 15 years of financial experience to assist Zero Point on its path to dynamic growth. Following earning his Master’s in Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Partlow spent 5 of the last 10 years with a Fortune 500 manufacturing company and five years with BLACKHAWK!/ ATK as Director of Financial Planning & Analysis.
Mickey Lincoln - Chief Mechanical Design Engineer
Mr. Lincoln’s 28+ years of mechanical design excellence ensures the continued steel-jawed rigor Zero Point brings to all of its product designs. Previously with BAE Systems and later ITT, Mr. Lincoln created solutions for vital, national level programs that many had considered impossible. His designs have flown in harm’s way, saving many lives, and they survive and continue to perform when everything else around them has quite literally shaken to bits. Mr. Lincoln’s mastery of high-end mechanical modeling, design and analysis methods make the elegant both practical and affordable, allowing Zero Point solutions to reach the level of uncommon sense.
Scott Traurig - Chief Engineer
With over 25 years of engineering excellence in the highly specialized field of Electronic Warfare, Mr. Traurig is considered a world authority on many aspects of electronic countermeasures (ECM). His enormous range of experience, from working with the early pioneers of electronic combat at Sanders Associates to providing key leadership and engineering at the national level on many critical and highly classified programs, is unique in the industry. This experience has imbued Mr. Traurig with an unparalleled ability to lead Zero Point’s capability for providing game changing, next level engineering solutions for real world, end user requirements.
Paul Hart - Experimental Scientist and RDT&E SME, B.S. Physics
Mr. Hart brings 43+ years of diversified education and experience to the Zero Point team. He has worked professionally as an Electronics Technician, Electronics Engineer (EE), Nuclear Engineer (NE), Security Engineer, Chemist, and Physicist, including Lead RDD radiography instructor for two DOE labs. He is the inventor of quantitative x-ray radiography for Radiological Dispersal Devices (RDDs) and the development of the Film Exposure Calculator software tool. Mr. Hart also led a Detection and Radiography effort, providing RDT&E expertise in the behavior and performance of commercial and prototype equipment utilized for radioactive materials search, detection and identification, and on the x-ray generators and digital x-ray imaging systems used in field radiography.
Neal Sprouse - Subject Matter Expert
With 20 years in the US Army as an EOD Technician, 5 years at CAG as a WMD Team Leader and 5 years at 21st Ordnance Company (EOD), Mr. Sprouse could easily and rightfully fall under the “Operator Bench”. However, it is his unique aptitude and insight for applying solutions to highly technical, extremely difficult problems that has him supporting the end user on national level technology initiatives.
Justin Heynekamp - Principal Scientist, Ph.D.
Dr. Heynekamp’s contribution to the Zero Point team has proven invaluable as one of the few PhD organic chemists operating within the dangerous and relevant field of homemade explosives (HME). As the Principal Scientist, Zero Point is in the unique position to provide superior services in the HME realm.
Edwin Bautista - Lead Electronics Engineer, M.S.E.E.
Mr. Bautista’s contribution to Zero Point Services has been invaluable in assisting end users to more fully understand the difficulty of improvised explosive device (IED) circuitry and in doing so provides the end user the crucial practical prerequisites necessary to combat this increasing technical threat.
