WMD / CBRN Operations
“Combating weapons of mass destruction (CWMD) and their means of delivery is one of the greatest challenges the United States faces. Weapons of mass destruction (WMD) have the potential to severely disrupt and damage the United States, its forces, allies, multinational partners, and other friendly nations. Adversaries may use WMD as a tool to inflict casualties on civilian populations, degrade the instruments of our national power, or to counter US military superiority. CWMD requires a continuous campaign conducted and supported by the entire United States Government” (Joint Publication 3-40, 10June2009). Training is the key to success when CWMD is the mission and Zero Point can help.
Zero Point instructors have years of operational experience at the national level combating WMD and are uniquely qualified to provide this training. The WMD Operations course is structured to provide practical and classroom training over a 5 day period. The course will better prepare EOD Operators for WMD operations when Chemical, Biological, Radiological, or Nuclear (CBRN) materials are present.
